Fall Mini Sessions - Cullman, AL

I am opening up my first day of Fall Mini Sessions to the Northern, AL crowd. I know I have a good many friends and clients in the Athens and Madison area that have asked about a Fall session. This is the ONE date I will have available for this area this Fall. Beat the Heat {Decatur, AL Children's Photographer}

I enjoyed getting to meet up with a good friend from Athens and her kids recently with a quick trip through Decatur. Miss. K has seen my camera a few times, but it was good to meet little brother! He is such a happy little guy! We thought we could beat the heat with an early session, but those 100 degree days don't offer much relief! They were such troopers to brave the humid morning temperatures with me.

Life on a Farm {Athens, AL Children's Photographer}

This was such a fun photo session for me! I LOVE getting to visit client's homes and photograph them in their own element in their personal settings. This family is very dear to us and we miss seeing them more often. We had a great time visiting with them and meeting their newest baby boy addition on this beautiful afternoon. It is hard to believe Miss. M, at a few months old, was one of my very first clients when I began my photography venture up in Madison, AL.

I enjoyed getting to meet up and hang out with these fun kiddos recently while in Athens. They have the cutest personalities. I happen to know that Mr. E would love the chance to travel into space one day, so when I saw the amazing pinhole light pouring through the side of the old silo, I knew it would be the perfect shot for him. Miss. R had the "movie star" posing down pat.

I was so excited that I was able to squeeze in a quick session with these two sisters while I was in Athens. Our family has enjoyed getting to watch these 2 grow girls grow. Aren't they just beautiful?! It is amazing how much one favors Mom and one favors Dad! I'm sure these 2 will be great helpers when baby #3 arrives this Fall. :)

Best Buddies

I am so glad I was able to meet up with these boys and their mother last weekend in Athens. We've taken yearly portraits about this time every year, and I must say these boys just keep getting more handsome. We've been able to incorporate a water theme to their pictures each year. So excited when I found out I could use The Pettie Aquatic Pond Shop in Athens as a backdrop. Now, if I could just get a setup like that in my backyard. :)

Double the Fun

I think it is safe to say that I've fallen behind on getting the blog updated! It has been a crazy busy month!

I enjoyed getting to work with my first set of twins recently. They were a good 6 weeks old before I met with them for the first time, and they were just gaining up to the average newborn size. Their little personalities were already starting to form.




I love how this picture puts size into perspective.


This is the announcement that I designed and it just melts my heart every time I see those sweet pictures.

Sweet Addition

I seriously LOVE doing newborn sessions! This sweet baby girl made my job easy and perfectly happy to pose and have her picture taken. I have a feeling she will have to get use to being a model for the camera real quick. =) After spending a few days in the NICU, I know this family is very happy to be home and all together now! Thanks for letting me work with your family.
