Country Living {Cullman, AL Children's Photographer}

I meet these handsome little guys at their family farm in Cullman County.  It must be nice to have so much land to run and play!  I love that we were able to tell their story in their own personal environment.

Hampton Angels {Birmingham, AL Baby and Children's Photographer}

It was such an honor for me to visit the Hampton's home and create these special Angel portraits for them of their 3 sweet little girls and baby Charlotte who is fighting Spinal Muscular Atrophy with a smile on her face.  I have been following their story on Facebook since the beginning of the year and have been encouraged by the love, faith, and positive outlook the family has kept while watching their youngest daughter go through this horrible disease.  I wanted to be able to capture their 3 sweet angels together to preserve this time and allow the family to hold them at this tender age forever.  I hope you will enjoy the slideshow and the portrayal of each girl's unique personality.

Snowglobed {Hoover, AL Children's and Family Photographer}

We had a beautiful Fall afternoon and location for this family's Fall portraits.  I love picking locations that have significance to the Family. This may be one of my favorite family portraits ever!  It was the perfect shot to try out this snow globe template. I happen to know that they have a pretty awesome Holiday card this year too!  ;)

Sweet "P" {Hoover, AL Children's Photographer}

This sweetheart just celebrated her 1st birthday this Fall.  We got together at the park for a fun morning of 1 year and family portraits.  The 1 year session is always a good time to plan for a family picture with everyone together.  Miss. P did a great job with her outfit changes and we thought she would have a ball with her smash cake at the end....but that was not what she had in mind as fun.  ;)  Mom requested the "ONE" collage, which made for a cute spread in her Fine Art Album.

Fall Mini Sessions {Family Photographer in Birmingham, AL}

There were so many favorite images from my Fall Mini Sessions this year.  Mini Sessions are just the right amount of time to get that perfect family portrait for a Christmas card or an updated Family Wall Portrait. We had such a beautiful location to frame each family with my new green couch.  It may take several posts to get all the favorites on the blog.  :)

Casual Family Portraits {Vestavia Hills, AL Children and Family Photographer}

I've enjoyed watching these boys grow and change with the different seasons.  I love the peaceful setting for their new family portrait.  We focused on Mr. C's 2 year portraits with our time together.  I love those blond curls and that happy, energetic smile!

Portraits with the Boys {Birmingham, AL Family and Children's Photographer}

You would never know looking at these portraits with the boys that we were dodging rain showers an a dreary morning. I love how the earth tone background colors blend with their outfits. Both the boys recently celebrated birthdays so perfect timing to get some updated portraits and a fresh Fall Family Portrait.

Back to School Session {Birmingham, AL Children's Photographer}

This was such a fun session!  We took my daughter and her best friend out for a Special Back to School Session in August. My daughter Savannah was starting 1st grade and her friend was starting Kindergarten.  I love watching the excitement in children this age in their anticipation of learning new things.

All Grown Up {Birmingham, AL Senior Photographer}

If you follow my blog very much, you know I photograph mostly children and families.  When I was asked to photograph this senior around her own home, I knew it was going to be an awesome session, and allow me to photograph a little more creatively.  We had a beautiful pre-Fall afternoon and gorgeous lighting to work with to capture this beautiful young lady at this stage in her life.  I know Mom must be sentimental about her last girl being a Senior this year!  I LOVE that we were able to end this perfect session with a beautifully painted sunset sky!
