Summer is a great time to schedule a family portrait session while the days are longer and the kids are out of school.  This family was so easy going and easy to work with.  I love their family portrait! Mom was smart to schedule portraits for the children right before her son got braces.

This little guy was such a pleasure to photograph!  He was so cooperative through family pictures, classic awake baby portraits, and slept like a charm. He was right at 6 weeks when he came for his newborn session.  I was in awe of his beautiful head of hair.

At 4 months, this sweet pea reminds me of a porcelain doll.  I love her expressive eyes and grins.  I thought it was precious that they brought her first gift from her Daddy, an adorable ballerina monkey.

I love the sweet images we got from Miss. A's 4 month studio session.  I love how each of her expressions pop out at you like she is trying to tell you something.  As with many babies this age her session included a short snooze, and I couldn't resist those sweet lips and eyelashes.

Sweet Angel {Hoover, AL Newborn and Baby Photographer}

This sweet angel baby recently came to the studio.  She was a little older than my typical newborn, but just as sweet.  I love all the smiles she was giving me at 8 weeks old.  It was great to catch up with her mother.  It is hard to believe it has been over 6 years since we were teaching 5th grade together.

I met up with these little guys recently while passing through Athens, AL.  The boys had just celebrated birthdays, so perfect timing for fun outdoor portraits.  I think boys could sit and play by a creek forever!

The trend this year has been for 1 year old girls to wear a cute tutu for their 1st birthday and it makes for a beautiful outfit for their 1 year portraits.  I love seeing the variety of outfits Mom's find on Etsy. For Miss. A's session we began with some formal portraits and then got down and messy with a smash cake.  So much fun, and those images made for a great little mini accordion album.

I love how her Lil' Sprout 1st year storyboard turned out!

This cutie came recently to the studio for her 8 month session.  I love seeing those sweet baby teeth in those sweet smiles.  The 8 month session is fun seeing babies sitting well on their own and sharing their personality with me.
