Sunny Afternoon in the Park {Atlanta, GA Family Photographer}

I had so much fun planning this family's Fall session and Holiday card!  It gets harder to top their card from previous years, but I adore how 2013 turned out! They let me know they would be traveling through Atlanta one weekend after a Clemson ballgame so I searched for the perfect setting for something "different."  A friend told me about the Peachtree Heights Duck Pond, so I went and checked it out and reserved a spot for us to use the property for our session.  We were met with a sunny afternoon and the girls did a great job after traveling in the car.

Buddies {Birmingham, AL Children's Photographer}

This cute duo recently celebrated their 3rd birthday, so it was time for some updated portraits.  I loved getting to see and work their their differing personalities.  With boys this age, you can expect to catch the best expressions in their action.

Two Years x Two {Hoover, AL Children's Photographer}

Two Years x Two = 4 Years of sweetness! It has been a pleasure to document this set of twins over this past year.  Since their 1 year session it has been fun to watch their personalities and little voices evolve. To me there is something magical about the toddler years and I love to capture those genuine smiles, pouts, and mannerisms.

Arms full of Love {Birmingham, AL Children and Family Photographer}

I enjoyed getting to spend some time with this family at the Gardens this Spring. They were in town visiting Grandparents. They have been blessed with 4 children, each with unique and fun personalities. I know Mom and Dad's arms are full of love for each of them.  I feel honored that they called on me to help them preserve this precious stage in their life.

1 Year x 2 {Birmingham, AL Children's Photographer}

I met this family at the gardens just before the twins first birthday.  I've had the privilage of working with several families with twins this Spring.  These sisters looked so sweet in their matching Easter dresses amongst the pretty Spring flowers.  Their grandmother made them matching tutus and shirts for their 1st birthday party.

Guess How Much I Love You {Birmingham, AL Newborn Photographer}

There is nothing sweeter than a set of newborn twins together!  It is totally worth the extra feedings, cuddlings, soothings, etc. to get sweet images like this. These guys have a nursery decorated with a Guess How Much I Love You book theme.  Before Easter it was perfect timing to add some bunnies to their session.

Pre Spring Fun {Hoover, AL Children's Photographer}

I met up with some of my favorite little girls at a field location, just before the Spring season got underway.  I styled their fun Matilda Jane Clothing with some bright fun props I had been dying to use.  I can always count of a good time with these cute girls.

Pink and Green Polka Dots {Hoover, AL Children's Photographer}

These sweet twins just celebrated their 1st birthday this weekend! I love this stylized birthday session we set up ahead of time for the girls. Their party theme was pink and green polka dots, so we incorporated those ideas into their session. The polka dot balloons, banner, and gumballs from Polka Dot Market created the perfect scene for this session. I love when clients plan ahead and schedule a child's one year session with enough time before the big party day to have prints back in time to share at the party. Big sister was such a doll and full of personality herself.

Check out the awesome framed 11x14 print that was on display at the birthday party. My clients love the custom designed frames I offer through Joyful Expressions. I love how playful the image and frame are together! The picture doesn't do it justice.

Triple the Fun {Birmingham, AL Newborn Photographer}

While one new baby is an adjustment for a family, how about triplets! This mother seemed to be doing a good job at handling life as it comes with 3 new babies and a preschooler at home. We kept this photo session simple with the goal of getting one good shot of the three babies. I imagine this is not a common picture at home with all three asleep at the same time, but isn't it just the sweetest thing! What a beautiful blessing!
