Birds of a Feather {Atlanta, GA Matilda Jane Children's Photographer}

"Birds of a feather stick together." That is how my girls and I feel about Matilda Jane Clothing!  Every girl I know gets excited when they get to wear a new Matilda Jane outfit. Matilda Jane is no stranger around here, and always seems to make its way into photo sessions with E. Bailey Photography each season! It was such an honor to get to review an outfit, for the photog blog party, from the second release, "Impressions," in the Paint by Numbers Fall 2013 Collection. From the minute I saw the pieces from this new collection I fell in love with the rich color palette and the fun whimsical patterns never disappoint! I love how it incorporates so many blue and purples tones, that you don't traditionally find in children's clothing. Two of my favorite colors! The artful tones and splashes of color coordinate perfectly with the theme of this line that take me back to childhood memories of meticulously painting in the blanks of paint by number murals. 

It is always an exciting day when a Matilda Jane package arrives on your doorstep!! Matilda Jane doesn't spare anything when it comes to the details! As excited as I was to view the colorful new pieces, I was ecstatic to carefully remove the amazing new tag design, complete with your own paint by number picture.  It may be my favorite tag yet!  

I love how Matilda Jane clothing pieces together so well and the various patterns blend for a unique ensemble with so many possibilities.  The pieces from this line can be dressed up for your families Fall Photo Sessions, worn to school, to parties, and is even durable enough for a day at the park.  The whimsical Turtledove Knot Top lent itself nicely to a birdie tea party that any little girl is sure to love!  The soft Sky View Puffer Top arrayed with hot air balloons and butterflies has so many styling options and sure to be a staple to be worn with so many different outfits within the collection. The soft, stretchy Gleam leggings with the adorable gray ruffles are such a cute companion to the harvest colors of the Turtledove Knot Top. The size 4 is true to size and fits to form, but also has room for comfort and to grow for a couple years.
